J&L Auto Body, Inc. has been serving the tri-county area with quality collision repairs for over thirty years. Our storefront is located at 408 Trolley Road in Summerville, while our 16,000 square foot shop is down the way at the end of Trolley Alley. Our storefront on Trolley serves as the face to the business, with more office space for additional in-house estimators. We accept all insurance companies as well as customer self-pay.
All of our body repairs and our insurance-certified paintwork fall under our written lifetime warranty. We can afford to warranty all our work like this for a very simple reason: we have some of the best technicians and equipment in the world. Our technicians undergo I-CAR and ASE training and certifications. Our bodyshop is completely fenced-in with guard dogs to provide the best assurance to customers that their cars are being protected. J&L's facility has a laser frame rack machine and a brand-new Pro Spot i4 welder for high-strength and boron-impregnated steel. We have a plastic media blaster for removal of fillers and paints in an environmentally sustainable manner. Our paint shop has two heated downdraft booths and a clean room for precision paint mixing.
Our office building has a four-bay space built-on that we plan to partition into both a thoughroughly-lit final inspection area and a mechanic shop to better serve you. J&L's manager is not just some desk jockey, but a man who has spent over thirty years in the industry, being equally familiar with the shop as well as the office. He is a critical piece to the puzzle, as he is the last set of eyes to inspect the car before it goes to the customer. Our future goals include continuing to grow our reputation for quality body repairs as well as being an all-around full-service one-stop shop for every one of our customer's needs.
J&L has strong ties with the local community and we have always been 100% locally owned and operated. We have rental contracts with Enterprise, so that our customers are not further inconvenienced during the repair process. Just recently we cold-called some of our more recent past customers for feedback, and received an absolutely glowing response: a 98% satisfaction rating. This is our greatest pride: that we could nurture the reputation of quality that had started one cold morning in January over thirty years ago.
